Job Summary
Conduct and contribute to equity research by collaborating with analysts to develop models, perform peer comparisons, maintain industry databases, prepare detailed research reports with investment theses and valuations, engage in due diligence with company management and industry experts, monitor industry news, respond to client requests, and participate in company briefings, roadshows, and conferences. Requires a degree in mathematics/statistics/finance or related field, 2+ years in equity research, strong analytical and Excel modelling capabilities, ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and English fluency with Chinese as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree holder in mathematics, statistics, finance or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of full-time relevant experience in equity research
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in financial modelling and different valuation techniques
- Self-motivated, diligent, multi-tasking with high standards for excellence and attention to details
- Highly proficient in Excel and good numeracy skills
- Fluency in English; Chinese language a plus but not essential
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
- Experience in healthcare or biopharmaceutical sector is preferred but not a must
