Job Summary
Run QC assays for ProteinSimple reagents and consumables, analyze results, and review trending data to determine lot status and product release. Precisely record details including lot numbers, expiration dates, and physical observations while revising SOPs for low-complexity tasks. Initiate deviation and out-of-specification investigations, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean workspace. Follow lab protocols, chemical handling guidelines, and safety procedures while participating in continuous process improvements. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar science degree
- 0-2 years of laboratory experience
- Associates degree or non-scientific bachelor's with 2+ years' relevant experience working in a quality position for a GMP or life science related industry
- Ability to pipette and perform techniques like electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, and western blotting
- Basic understanding of electrophoresis techniques and data analysis
- Experience with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, JMP, GraphPad Prism
- Understanding of basic statistical principles
- Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
