Job Summary
Execute chemical transformations and purify small molecules using techniques including TLC, silica gel column chromatography, RP-HPLC, UPLC-MS, and NMR. Perform experiments per protocols, analyze intermediates and products, and maintain accurate records in Electronic Lab Notebooks while reviewing colleague experiments. Reflect on outcomes, discuss results with supervisors, and propose next steps. Handle hazardous materials responsibly and support lab operations such as equipment maintenance and inventory management. Provide weekly updates in Organic Chemistry Team meetings. Full-time role in Oss, Netherlands, with an annual base pay range of 41,250 to 57,750 EUR.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/MSc degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry
- 0 -4 years relevant experience in Organic Chemistry
- Demonstrates a strong focus to laboratory work
- High attention to detail
- Strong experimental standards
- Proficient in relevant software programs, including MS Office and ChemDraw
