Job Summary
Seeking a Research Associate with a strong background in molecular biology to support research and production projects, performing laboratory experiments on DNA analysis and molecular biology techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or Master's Degree (M.S.) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, or related life sciences field
- Hands-on experience with DNA amplification, DNA extraction, and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of DNA sequencing analysis and nucleic acid characterization methods (e.g., PCR, electrophoresis, cloning, sequencing)
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Prism, BLAST)
- 0-5 years of laboratory experience in molecular biology or genetics research
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed experimental protocols
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate experimental records and documentation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting experimental procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under general supervision and in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to learn new experimental techniques and instrumentation quickly
