Job Summary
The In Vivo Research Associate II/III position focuses on conducting in vivo studies supporting the company's goals. Responsibilities include closely working with study teams to conduct studies as per protocols, collecting body weight and tumor volume data, processing and shipping tissue samples, and preparing animals for procedures. The role involves performing clinical observations, humane euthanasia, sample collection, and administering therapeutic agents via multiple routes. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 2-3 years of Vivarium experience, and proficiency in various in vivo oncology models. Preferred qualifications include AALAS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of experience handling animals in a Vivarium environment
- Comfortable working in a laboratory animal research environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform a minimum of three in vivo oncology tumor models in mice
- Demonstrated sense of integrity and confidentiality
- Planning, organizational skills and flexibility in a reactive environment
- Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for own work
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Observe safety and security procedures
- Able to troubleshoot effectively and solve problems with supervision
Desired Qualifications
- AALAS certification at ALAT level or higher
