Research Associate II Cytology

Job Summary

Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation by designing, executing, and interpreting studies to support firm projects. Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses while maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and Design Control standards. Design experimental protocols with minimal supervision, troubleshoot problems, and institute corrective actions. Collaborate with the team to provide input on project planning, contribute to process improvement, and assist in identifying patentable inventions. Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and continuous adherence to the Quality First Time principle. Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods for complex problems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, 2–4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in specialized laboratory techniques. Preferred experience includes handling cytology specimens and preparing slides using Hologic T2000 or BD Totalys systems.
