Job Summary
Conduct laboratory experiments, collect and analyze specimens, and perform routine assays to support assigned research projects. Interpret protocols, maintain equipment, and execute statistical analysis of results while adhering to good research practices. Review clinical and neuropathological data to support case classification, prepare documentation for investigators, and manage live donor records within research databases. Generate cohorts, datasets, and reports for UMBEB investigators, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. Participate in on-call activities for Brain Endowment Bank operations and assist with annual production and tissue distribution reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Commitment to the University's core values
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
