Job Summary
Prepare buffers and cell culture media, maintain mammalian and insect cell cultures, and purify recombinant proteins and antibodies per established SOPs. Coordinate product transfers to cross-functional teams for testing, prepare project documentation, and maintain accurate inventory and batch records for ISO13485:2016 compliance. Transfect or transduce cells, manage production runs, and conduct experiments to optimize processes. Work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment with occasional warehouse exposure, requiring some holiday or weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in biology or a related field
- 1+ years of mammalian or bacterial cell culture experience
- Must be able to maintain mammalian and insect cell cultures
- Must be able to transfect/transduce cells and manage production runs
- Must be able to purify and further process recombinant proteins & antibodies to meet specifications
- Must be able to prepare various buffers and reagents for experiments
- Must be able to maintain accurate inventory records for recombinant protein and antibody products
- Must be able to coordinate product transfers to cross-functional teams for testing and evaluation
- Must be able to prepare project- and product-related documentation
- Must be able to maintain batch records and other documentation that are essential to be compliant with ISO13485:2016
- Must be able to effectively work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with many projects
- Must be able to critically analyze experiments and plan for future experiments
- Must be able to conduct experiments for process improvements and optimization
- Some holiday and weekend work may be required

- Lead/conduct experimental studies with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and work well in small workgroups
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
