Job Summary
The Research Associate is an integral part of the executive search team, supporting Managing Directors, Principals, and Associates in executing search engagements and developing candidate lists. Responsibilities include creating and developing a Research Strategy, sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Pitchbook, internal databases, and Boolean searches, forming relations across divisions, and developing metrics and reporting to measure progress. The role emphasizes collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication to advance client engagements and organizational strategy opportunities including Diversity & Inclusion/Inclusive Design initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in service-oriented business or consulting environment (executive search experience preferred)
- Experience researching and understanding market trends
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience sourcing with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, and internal database queries; Pitchbook experience preferred
- Ability to learn and adapt to CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
