Job Summary
Research Associate to support research activities on cognitive flexibility and learning among adults and adolescents. The role involves literature reviews, conducting interviews, survey construction, evaluation, and administration; familiarity with behavioral task data and data management; data analysis using R for data wrangling and basic analyses (e.g., ANOVA, regression, SEM, factor analysis); experience with online/offline tools such as Qualtrics, Gorilla, and PsychoPy; adherence to APA 7th edition guidelines; strong communication and collaboration to deliver work on time; assist in quantitative and qualitative processing and analysis, project and data management, and report preparation. The position is at NTU Singapore with involvement across NIE, RSIS, and LKCMedicine, and requires a Master’s degree and experience in surveys, psychological testing, and cognitive experiments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology with a background in cognition, education/learning, pedagogy, or related field.
- Experience in conducting, collecting data for and analysing surveys, psychological testing (computerised), behavioural testing and cognitive experiments.
- Experience in conducting literature reviews and writing academic reports.
- Experience with statistical analysis using SPSS and/or R language.
- Good ICT skills.
- Good communication skills and other interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and able to work effectively within deadlines.
- Experience preparing reports, protocols, presentations and manuscripts with guidance.
- Interest in research at the intersection of neuroscience, social science, education, and cognition.
