Job Summary
Research Associate/Assistant embedded at NTU Singapore to drive the COSMOS expansion. The role involves applying and adapting COSMOS to new datasets, collaborating with domain experts to interpret discovered motifs, guiding data structuring and labeling strategies, contributing to experimental planning, and developing reusable pipelines deployable across multiple domains. The position is co-embedded with NTU and NUS for access to domain data and continued COSMOS development, reporting to and coordinating with supervisors across institutions.
Required Qualifications
- MSc degree in AI for Science preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (e.g., Physics or Biology) or Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computational)
- Practical experience with unsupervised and self-supervised learning workflows on datasets from scientific instrumentation (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy, time-series)
- Strong scientific programming background in ML stack (PyTorch) and experienced in HPC environment
Desired Qualifications
