Research Associate 2

Conduct specialized and complex experiments, including DNA genotyping, PCR, and tissue culture, while operating sensitive laboratory equipment such as centrifuges and liquid handling robots. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to prepare reports on research trends and make recommendations to the supervisor. Participate in the publication of significant research results, write extramural grants, and supervise new laboratory personnel. Maintain laboratory inventories, update databases, and adhere to university research policies and protocols. Perform photography and dark room processing as needed.
