Job Summary
This Research Associate 1 position supports the implementation and coordination of research activities under the Principal Investigator, involving direct interaction with study participants in pharmacy, clinical, and community settings. Key responsibilities include leading project implementation, data collection and analysis, ensuring adherence to research protocols and regulatory standards, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary research team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or a related field, prior research experience, and fluency in Spanish and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in Health Sciences or closely related field preferred (i.e., Public Health or Nursing)
- One year of prior research is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols and IRB processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current, valid Florida driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to use personal transportation for work purposes
- Local travel throughout South Florida will be required
