Job Summary

Perform lab experiments and analyses according to established procedures and protocols while generating and maintaining accurate records and documentation. Manage lab equipment and supplies, communicate findings and project status, and collaborate with colleagues across departments. Support other QC activities as needed, including implementing new QC workflows in accordance with approved SOPs and internal quality systems. Execute routine and newly implemented lab workflows with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency, applying hands-on expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry to support the quality control, release, and continuous support of EpiCypher research tools, reagents, and kits.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree with two or more years of relevant lab experience
  • MS degree with at least one year of relevant lab experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or related
  • Hands-on experience with techniques such as PCR, genomic workflows, protein assays, microplate-based assays, or related analytical methods
  • Experience working in SOP-driven lab environments and quality-focused workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, reproducibility, and data integrity
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and competing priorities
  • Ability to execute routine and newly implemented lab workflows with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to remain stationary for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to move about within the office and lab
  • Must be able to operate a computer and the necessary lab equipment
  • Must be able to position themselves to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds throughout the workday

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior industry experience
  • Experience with liquid handling automation or laboratory robotics
  • Broad scientific background with the ability to rapidly learn and apply new methods and technologies
