Job Summary
Entry-level Research Assistant to support animal husbandry, data collection, and database management for transgenic aging models in UT San Antonio's animal core; will assist in generating/studying mice and rats that overexpress or underexpress aging-related genes, helping investigators identify gene function related to extending healthy lifespan. Role located at the Medical Center in San Antonio with a rotating schedule including weekend shifts and some holidays; requires maintaining animal colonies and contributing to data integrity under university security guidelines.
