Research Assistant

Support the Cardiology Research Group at Kolling Institute by providing technical and operational support for a broad cardiovascular research program. Responsibilities include preparing materials in collaboration with team, performing fundamental research tasks, coordinating project activities to ensure smooth experiments, supervising or assisting students with lab work and demonstrations, and ensuring efficient laboratory operation through equipment preparation and safety adherence. The role involves work with cell culture, preclinical models, immunophenotyping, human clinical studies, and data analysis. Strong emphasis on developing and applying research protocols, experimental design, laboratory records, inventory management, literature reviews, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.
