Research Assistant /Technician 2

Job Summary
Provide support to the Aging, Mobility, and Cognitive Health Lab: recruit older participants (including home visits), manage data collection and QC of MRI data, develop and manage data capture forms/databases, train volunteers, liaise with researchers and participants, assist in lab management including inventory tracking and ethics applications, and help deliver interventions as needed. Must follow approved protocols, maintain data confidentiality, and work under supervision with the Lab Director and Research Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation, some additional training in a related field and a minimum two years of related experience
- University degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of two year experience in a university clinical research laboratory that focused on clinical research
- Experience in neuroimaging – acquisition and analyses
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of basic neuroimaging pipelines (e.g., Freesurfer, FSL)
- Knowledge of age-related changes in physical and cognitive abilities
