Job Summary
Research Assistant for Strategic Engagements supporting speaker coordination, VIP engagement, and on-site expo execution. Responsibilities include curating speaker lists and session topics, drafting session descriptions and event agendas, coordinating invitations and bios/headshots for VIPs, drafting external communications (invitations, newsletters, promotional copy, social content, briefing materials for speakers/moderators), using Airtable and Google Suite to track logistics and schedules, and providing hands-on support on-site during the Expo (stage management and attendee experience). Requires strong professional writing, PM software proficiency, ability to prompt LLMs, and must be in Arlington, VA for full-time in-person work January–June 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Education: All undergraduate or graduate majors and concentrations are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Google Suite, data organization, and project management software. Proficiency in leveraging and prompting Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Communication: Exceptional professional writing and communication skills for external partner engagement.
- In-Person Requirement: Must be able to work full-time in-person at our Arlington office January through June of 2027.
