Job Summary
Auditing and updating Standard Operating Procedures for aquatic ecology laboratory and field procedures; contribute to QA/QC processes; labeling, sample storage, reporting templates, and data storage; collaborate with researchers across departments to strengthen workflow connectivity. Practical work includes water chemistry and elemental analysis, pollutant analysis, field limnology, identification of aquatic phytoplankton and zooplankton, and operation of experimental facilities. Recent graduates with an MSc or HBO degree, strong written/spoken English, and interest in team-based and independent work are invited to apply. Location: Wageningen, Netherlands; Department of Aquatic Ecology, NIOO-KNAW.
Required Qualifications
- MSc or University of Applied Science degree (HBO)
- English communication skills (written and spoken)
- experience in writing SOPs
- experience with QA/QC processes in aquatic laboratory context
- ability to work independently and in a team
