Job Summary
On-site Research Assistant in Neurology to support data collection, participant recruitment, administrative duties, IRB coordination, and grant preparation. Responsibilities include recruiting study subjects, obtaining informed consent, scheduling and coordinating study activities, maintaining participant databases, preparing and maintaining IRB approvals, and assisting with data analysis and manuscript preparation. May translate to Spanish or Haitian Creole and assist with translation of results. Opportunities to engage in literature searches and data reporting, with emphasis on clinical research workflows and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required by time of hire
- Experience in clinical research, public health experience or working with children and families preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Haitian Creole preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with statistical software a plus
- Excellent English communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality
