Job Summary
Design and conduct experiments for the synthesis of nanostructures and polymers using bottom-up approaches, while utilizing advanced characterization techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, TEM, and SEM. Contribute to the development of new synthesis methods and optimize existing processes, maintaining detailed records of procedures and observations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of chemists, physicists, and engineers to achieve research goals, staying abreast of latest advancements in nanotechnology to incorporate relevant findings into projects. This role supports Nexus Power's mission to build bio-organic batteries from crop residue for electric vehicles and grid storage.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. or M.Tech with 1 to 3 years of experience in synthesis and nanotechnology
- M.Sc. in Applied Sciences, Physics, Chemistry or any related Discipline
- Clear understanding of synthesis procedures and purification of nano structures
- Basic knowledge of characterization techniques including UV-Vis spectroscopy, TEM, SEM, and other microscopy methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
