Job Summary

Set up and perform routine assays based on study protocols and technical advice. Participate in study protocol reviews, pre-initiation meetings, and methodology reviews while maintaining compliant study documentation. Review own work for accuracy and timeliness, conduct QC reviews of selected data, and contribute to internal method development projects. Deliver results within agreed timeframes while recognizing priority changes. Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment and perform routine maintenance. Respond efficiently to requests and provide constructive feedback on study progress. Recognize deviations from normal results and inform the Study Director or management of data integrity issues. Schedule daily tasks to coincide with study deadlines and recommend modifications to routine procedures as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or related life sciences
  • 6 months or more in any of the following specialties: mass spectrometry, cell culture work, or DMPK assays
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to schedule daily tasks to coincide with own study deadlines
  • Ability to recognize deviations from normal results and inform Study Director, Study Coordinator and/or management of any problems that may affect integrity of the data
  • Ability to recommend modifications to routine procedures to adapt to problems in primary area
  • Requires less supervision to conduct tasks in primary area of work
