Job Summary

Maintain the flow cytometer, manage mouse husbandry, and assist with molecule and cell biology experiments while participating in in vivo murine tumor model studies. Conduct research independently and collaboratively by performing experiments, interpreting and analyzing results, troubleshooting methods and procedures, and contributing to experimental design. This role supports immunology oncology research at Scripps Research, a nonprofit biomedical institute with a century of legacy in immunology, infectious diseases, and neuroscience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or chemical biology, cell biology, immunology or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Master's degree
  • Experience with recombinant protein expression
  • Experience with cell and molecular biology
  • Experience with murine models
  • Training in multi-color flow cytometry
  • Training in mouse disease models
