Job Summary
Research Assistant I at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, will assist in the synchronization of arthroplasty research activities under the direction of the Director, providing administrative and study-specific support (e.g., timely reports to the Director, IRB, PI, NIH and sponsor; literature reviews; data collection and entry; development of Clinical Research Forms; recruitment and informed consent for low-risk prospective studies; regulatory and compliance tasks; coordination with clinicians and research staff; and participation in seminars and grand rounds) while ensuring adherence to GCP and regulatory requirements. A Bachelor’s degree and scientific background are required, with strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills; prior research experience and knowledge of GCP are emphasized, and Epic experience is a plus.
