Research Assistant I - BWH Asthma Research Center, June 2026

Research Assistant I works with Laboratory Manager and Principal Investigators to conduct screening and study visits, recruit study subjects, collect and enter data, perform clinical testing (vital signs, EKG, blood draws, skin testing, spirometry, methacholine challenges, sputum induction, exercise challenges, bronchoscopies and related procedures), ensure data integrity, and prepare reports. Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, coordinating data with the Data Coordinating Center or sponsor/CRO, maintaining study logs, and communicating effectively with study participants and staff. Strong scientific background and ability to work independently with attention to detail are required. Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and Access) and clear written/spoken communication are essential.
