Job Summary
Conduct experiments and assays of varying complexity under minimal supervision, including culturing cells, performing molecular biology, expressing proteins, and running flow cytometry. Prepare reagents, maintain sterile conditions, and troubleshoot equipment while recording, interpreting, and communicating data results. Assist the principal investigator in modifying procedures, recommend improvements to protocols, and train other employees. Ensure laboratory safety and inventory management while analyzing test results and preparing research progress reports. Work on-site at Vanderbilt Medical Center North in Nashville, TN, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Exceptional organizational skills

- Ability to function as part of a dynamic research team
- On site at Vanderbilt Medical Center North located at 1211 21st Ave. S. in Nashville, TN
- Monday-Friday, traditional daytime business hours
