Job Summary
Administrative-focused role coordinating research programs and IRB processes within the Office of Research. Responsibilities include providing high-level administrative support (reports, presentations, spreadsheets, contracts, correspondence), coordinating research committees (IRB/IBC), managing student and faculty research programs, facilitating access to medical records in ARMC-affiliated settings, planning and executing research events, maintaining accreditation data, and ensuring documentation compliance. Serves as the primary contact for IRB activities, tracks CITI/HSR training, maintains meticulous IRB records, and supports budget planning and SharePoint/technology needs. Requires on-campus presence four days per week, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and related tools; preferred experience in basic science labs, clinical trials knowledge, CIP certification, and FERPA familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, health sciences, social sciences, or related field
- minimum of two (2) years of experience providing support to scientists/researchers, grant or research activities; and/or equivalent experience/training
