Job Summary
Provide proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sector within the Australian listed market, developing financial models and valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage. Respond to market news, earnings releases, and corporate developments to generate timely reports. Maintain client relationships by engaging directly with fund managers, sales teams, and corporates to communicate ideas and ensure maximum exposure from research reports. Collect data and compile answers for client requests accurately. Actively generate ideas for team development and maintain working relationships with government and industry organizations. Bachelor degree or above in business with 3-10 years' experience as a research associate. Strong analytical and modeling skills required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major
- 3-10 years' experience as a research associate/analyst
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of financial modelling
- Strong excel/ spreadsheet skills
- Excellent interpersonal sensitivity
- High sense of commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, relationship and management skills to both internal and external clients
- Excellent command in both spoken and written English
Desired Qualifications
- funds management, investment banking, or finance/accounting background would be considered with requisite demonstration of key modelling skills
