Job Summary
Public Health Research Analyst (SAS and R) supporting CDC through DLH, with 100% remote work and occasional in-person meetings near Atlanta, GA; must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Atlanta, Chicago, or Washington, DC to access secure office locations for onboarding and security processing. Develop SAS programs for validating surveillance, clinical, or research study data; ensure inclusion/exclusion of variables; identify data discrepancies; develop codebooks and data management plans; perform data validation and metadata management; conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis using R; collaborate with analysts; support dissemination and reporting to internal and external partners; work with federal partners on funded jurisdictions or funded CBOs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, or related field
- 2 years of experience working with R or SAS
- Strong SAS experience
- Familiarity with R coding
- Clear communication (written and verbal)
- Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance
