Job Summary
Research Analyst I will support bioanalysis studies of drug molecules across multiple matrices. The role involves independently performing routine sample preparation, operating analytical instrumentation with guidance from senior staff, identifying and reporting difficulties in sample prep, ensuring raw data records are accurate and properly organized, and performing related duties. The position emphasizes teamwork, data quality, and speed in a fast-paced laboratory setting; proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint and standard laboratory calculations is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (B.S./B.A.)
- related laboratory experience preferred in pharmaceutical or contract laboratory environment
- equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- proficiency with standard laboratory calculations and analytical instrumentation software
- ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- written and verbal communication skills
- ability to use analytical instrumentation with guidance from senior staff
- ability to identify and report difficulties in sample preparation
- ability to ensure raw data accuracy and proper documentation
- ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to wear protective clothing in lab environment
