Job Summary
As a Research Analyst, aggregate, standardize, and augment disparate data sets; provide timely and reliable statistical information on commercial properties (availability, vacancy, lease rates, absorption, and more); assist with collecting, analyzing, and producing quarterly and annual market reports; assist with broker opinion of values, lease abstracting, and lease/sale analysis; conduct field research to verify and enhance market information; collaborate with marketing, IT, and research/marketing teams to support pitches, proposals, and client pursuits; present findings and participate in local office meetings; support Charlotte and Raleigh offices with insights and resources to stay ahead in their markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years Research experience in a similar role within Commercial Real Estate
- Experience using CRE data platforms and ArcGIS
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database
- Able to calculate and analyze key metrics (vacancy, absorption, inventory, deliveries, cap rates)
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for commercial real estate
