Research Analyst, Bureau of Mental Health

Research Scientist role within NYC Health Department focused on population-level mental health surveillance and research. Responsibilities include designing and conducting analysis of administrative and survey data (e.g., SPARCS, Vital Statistics, epidemiologic data), developing surveillance indicators with demographic disaggregation to identify disparities, leveraging data to inform planning and resource allocation, data quality review, and preparation of technical publications. Technical duties include pre-processing data with SAS and/or R, creating graphics and dashboards for internal/external stakeholders, and collaborating with surveillance, research, and evaluation staff.
