Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize statistically robust, secure, and scalable algorithms to address business needs while adapting them to enhance system performance and customer experience. Develop test strategies to evaluate new methodologies and present results for internal challenges, ensuring full effectiveness by closing loops with operational data and logs. Lead defined studies under the guidance of experienced researchers and provide support for solution design, implementation, and operations. Maintain proficiency in image processing, computer vision, deep learning, and PyTorch to process large data volumes in a research environment.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or Engineering Degree (Master's level engineering education)
- Initial significant experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning
- Strong background in mathematics, data analysis, C, Python, and PyTorch
- Ability to process large volumes of data and work in a research environment, including exploring unknown or emerging domains
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of biometrics or document analysis would be considered a plus
- Curious and eager to learn

- Results- and solution-oriented mindset
- Clear and persuasive communication skills
- An additional language would be an advantage
