Job Summary

Support day-to-day activities of a team of Post-Award Specialists by monitoring workload distribution, raising concerns to the RAS director, and providing guidance to team members. Manage post-award activities for an assigned portfolio of grants and contracts, including regular review, reconciliation, and projection of award finances; prepare adjustments, corrections to award budgets, and financial reports. Coordinate with the Pre-Award team lead to facilitate collaboration between teams, define account establishment parameters, and set up awards in the financial system. Distribute award information to PIs, co-PIs, and relevant staff; manage payroll adjustments for budgeted positions; and review effort reports to manage the quarterly certification process. Ensure adherence to quality standards, federal rules, and university regulations while completing invoices, submitting reports to sponsors, and facilitating subcontractor invoice approvals. Close out all funded projects consistent with university process and timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • five years of experience related to grants and contracts management
  • Knowledge of federal rules and regulations/terms and conditions relating to research grant and/or contract activity
  • Eastern (EST) time zone business hours
  • Location within the United States (excluding NJ, AK, HI, U.S. Territories, or outside the U.S.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft Financial System
