Job Summary
Coordinate research administrative activities in support of investigators and project leaders in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities include data entry, tracking, and coordinating weekly workflow for project-related activities in a team environment; manage tissue collection, processing and storage; oversee specimen inventory and tracking; communicate with biorepository users regarding protocols and sample availability; ship and track biosamples per IATA regulations; maintain lab equipment; maintain records and documentation for lab and bench activities. Requires on-site work with some evenings and weekends as needed; BS/BA preferred and 5–7 years of relevant experience; on-site 100%; contingent upon funding.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad/GE Degree
- Bachelor of Science
- 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of medical terminology or histology preferred
