Job Summary
Respond to on-site emergencies and incidents by providing firefighting, medical, and rescue support. Perform confined space and rope rescue operations while inspecting and monitoring work at heights. Maintain and inspect fire, rescue, and EMS equipment, and participate in emergency response planning, drills, and training. Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and site standards. This casual role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with shifts varying by site across Saskatchewan, including day and night options. Travel and accommodations are provided when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- NFPA 1001 Level I & II
- NFPA 1006 or Equivalent Rope Rescue
- Confined Space Rescue & Rope Rescue
- First Responder Level B
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean criminal record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- NFPA 1002
- 1+ year of firefighting or industrial emergency response experience
- Ability to obtain Class 3A license (if required for specific sites)
