Job Summary
Math Resource Teacher / Math Coach role focused on maintaining and monitoring the mathematics program, developing district-wide STEM initiatives, and delivering professional development for staff. Responsibilities include implementing Hillsborough County Public Schools’ Mathematics Program Guidelines, guiding teachers in mathematics instruction aligned with the Florida Standards, coaching colleagues to improve math instruction and assessment use, conducting classroom walkthroughs, modeling effective teaching techniques, organizing resources and materials, and collaborating with administrators and district supervisors to support mathematics instruction. Requires traveling to multiple school sites within the district and holds a Florida Professional Educator Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Professional Educator Certificate
- Three years of increasingly responsible experience in classroom teaching, with two years of related management or supervisory experience required. Educational Leadership experience preferred.
