Job Summary
Oversee the entire day-to-day operation of a residential group home for adults in recovery by providing leadership to 12 residents and supervising Residential Recovery Counselors. Manage budgets, funding, and house money while ensuring compliance with state regulations and agency policies. Supervise counselors to ensure quality delivery of services including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and health check-ins. Coordinate programming needs, staff development, and physical plant maintenance. Maintain effective communication between program and agency staff, serving as a liaison to treatment providers and social service agencies. Monitor progress reports, support treatment plan modifications, and conduct annual reviews of house rules. Provide supervision to ensure high-quality supports, partner with the Registered Nurse on healthcare delivery, and coordinate post-discharge placements and transportation services. Conduct urine drug screens and breathalyzer tests, perform facility walkthroughs, and assist residents in acquiring daily living and work readiness skills. Respond to routine and emergency medical needs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- CASAC-M Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor
- 3 years experience or training with working effectively with those working toward or in recovery from substance use disorder
- 2-5 years' supervisory experience
- Must be capable to access all rooms in a 2-story home
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Must be capable to move throughout work day
- Occasional lifting of > 25+ pounds
