Requirements / Specification Engineer – Steering Systems

Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end specification and requirements engineering for steering system components, ensuring technical consistency, completeness, and compliance with system and OEM requirements. Manage automotive project coordination and PMO activities while documenting wiring diagrams, design layouts, EMV, installation space investigations, and technical drawings. Lead software development efforts including runtime analysis, architecture, and trace analysis, utilizing tools like JIRA, Confluence, ASPICE, and CatiaV5. Maintain rigorous documentation quality and analytical focus on mechatronic systems, preferably within VW steering development environments. Requires minimum 5 years of experience in requirements engineering and automotive development.

- Strong background in automotive project coordination / PMO
- Proven experience in requirements engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and documentation quality
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- English: Professional working proficiency
- German: Considered a strong asset / plus
