Job Summary
Provide first-line technical support to academic and administrative staff, students, and technical assistants for software, multimedia equipment, and E-learning systems. Diagnose and resolve installation, configuration, and usage issues while installing, configuring, and updating applications on university computers. Perform routine maintenance to ensure software reliability and security, then escalate complex problems to relevant IT teams. Conduct training sessions or create user guides on data protection policies and best practices, maintaining accurate documentation of all support requests and system changes. Prepare and maintain broadcasting and livestreaming equipment for practical work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Lower Second Class [2.2] or better) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering
- at least three (3) years' post-qualification experience
- strong communication skills
- leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a broadcasting environment at producer level or above
- practical competence in journalism-related software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Audacity, DaVinci Resolve, and livestreaming software
