Job Summary
Manage and maintain computer laboratories and ICT equipment while installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks. Provide technical support to staff and students during teaching, research, and examinations, and maintain servers, operating systems, databases, and cybersecurity measures. Ensure the availability, functionality, and security of laboratory resources, assist with procurement and inventory management, and supervise technical staff. Develop technical documentation, ensure policy compliance, and liaise with the University's ICT Department and external providers. Keep abreast of emerging technologies to recommend infrastructure improvements and support departmental digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- National Diploma in Computer Studies
- BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science
- BSc Honours Degree in Computer Systems Engineering
Desired Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of relevant post qualification working experience
