Job Summary
Provide first-line technical support to academic, administrative staff, and students, diagnosing and resolving software issues including installation, configuration, and usage problems. Install, configure, and update applications on university computers while performing routine maintenance to ensure reliability and security. Conduct training sessions or create user guides for staff and students on university software, data protection policies, and E-learning systems like Moodle and Google Classroom. Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and system changes. Support the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of multimedia equipment such as projectors, smart boards, and video conferencing systems. Prepare and maintain Radio and TV Broadcasting and Livestreaming equipment for practical work. Supervise and train Technical Assistants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Lower Second Class [2.2] or better) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering
- at least three (3) years' post-qualification experience
- strong communication skills
- leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a broadcasting environment at producer level or above
- practical competence in journalism-related software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Audacity, DaVinci Resolve, and livestreaming software
