Job Summary
Provide senior-level guidance to the Property Services team, overseeing day-to-day operations including maintenance, space-use analysis, lease administration, and tenant relations. Develop and manage portfolio budgets while monitoring financial performance to ensure profitability. Foster positive tenant relationships, ensure compliance with local and national regulations, and prepare regular reports on occupancy and financial metrics. Implement strategies to maximize property value and achieve organizational goals. Speak to various Old Mutual Group products to drive cross-selling opportunities. This role requires 5+ years of experience in asset management, a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or similar, and strong Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in asset/property management or real estate operations on diverse property portfolios
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Property Development and Estate Management or similar required
- Excellent understanding of Excel with spreadsheet analysis experience
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail, as well as strong decision-making skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of property management, operations, asset management, and financials
- Ability to both lead and build out a team
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration or similar preferred
- Knowledge in MRI or other real estate management software an added advantage
- Membership with REIZ or EAC an added advantage
