Job Summary
Reprocess edible product for reuse by deboxing and melting the product. Operate the Baader machine and product-saver to remove the product from packaging. Maintain a safe work area and ensure products are melted to the correct formula and level to uphold food safety and quality, including proper handling of allergens and adherence to GMPs, Kosher regulations, and HACCP CCPs. Label all containers for remelt with date, line number, formula, and quantity, and maintain traceability records. Must identify and report food safety concerns and comply with required safety protocols; typical shifts are first shift, onsite in Birmingham. Requires understanding of re-melting/mixing processes and ability to work in a potentially temperature-variant environment with PPE.
