Job Summary
Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster handling automobile-accident claims involving single or multiple vehicles, property damage, and bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement. Remote work from home is supported, with responsibilities including assessing coverage, liability, and damages; providing empathetic customer service; communicating with customers and attorneys via voice, email, and text; negotiating settlements; managing multiple venues; serving as the claim owner; and collaborating with internal partners to drive value. Key skills include strong communication, negotiation, critical thinking, knowledge of insurance policies and liability determination, and proficiency with claims tools and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in bodily injury claims handling or a related field
- Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination
- Knowledge of tools/platforms for effective claims evaluation
