Job Summary

Provide constant oversight for safety and compliance at the Class II Station, including auditing in-process and completed aircraft records, logbooks, and engineering documents. Perform maintenance inspections such as borescope, eddy current, ultrasonic, and fluorescent penetrant testing while ensuring Required Inspection Item policies are adhered to. Approve return-to-service actions and provide airworthiness releases, rejecting unsatisfactory work per published procedures. Monitor vendor performance, AOG reports, and tool investigations, communicating deficiencies and regulatory issues to management.

Required Qualifications

Current Mechanic Certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings, held for at least five years
Three years of maintenance experience on different types of large airplanes with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station, one year of which must have been as maintenance inspector
Must provide inspection support for field trips
Requires the ability to obtain, hold, and maintain Required Inspection Item (RII) authorization
Requires the ability to obtain and maintain Airworthiness release/return to service
Must be Fleet Qualified on Frontier's aircraft
Must have a current US Passport or shall be able to obtain a US Passport within three (3) months of assignment in the Inspection Department
