Job Summary
Conduct safety training programs and manage the unit's training matrix to ensure compliance with new-hire, annual refresher, and recurrent requirements for transportation documentation. Investigate accidents and injuries to determine root causes, develop corrective action plans, and communicate prevention steps through safety alerts, acknowledgement forms, and shift briefings. Liaise with clients on safety issues, support incident investigations and final reporting, and drive improved compliance through audits and participation in regional meetings. Maintain proper CDL files and ensure full OSHA compliance while supporting PRIDE and SQUAD teams to enhance safety awareness. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of safety experience, and OSHA interpretation skills, with a 10-25% travel requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of safety and/or risk
- Previous experience in airline, food processing, distribution operations or other fast paced environment
- Ability to interpret OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agency rules
- Working knowledge of MS Office products
- High standard of personal and professional integrity
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Travel %: 10% - 25%
