Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative responsible for interacting with existing customers to increase sales, obtain and create orders, upsell items, explain features, and coordinate with outside sales to meet goals. Manages quotations, open order reports, backorder notices, and customer notifications; identifies opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts; suggests process improvements; prepares and follows up on quotations; tracks delivery dates and stock status; reports industry trends and customer feedback to management. Requires a High School Degree or Equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) and 2-4 years of sales/sales administration experience; proficient with Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication; attention to detail; ability to multitask; team-oriented; willing to travel up to 25%; includes commission opportunity in addition to base salary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors’ degree preferred
- 2-4 years experience in sales and sales administration
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
- Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
- Ability to travel 0% - 25%
