Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Airgas processes orders and provides front-line support to customers primarily by telephone and email, including order entry, pricing negotiation, data maintenance, billing inquiries, and coordination with internal departments and field sales. Responsibilities include assisting customers with inquiries, researching products with vendors, ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining customer accounts and pricing, and supporting overall customer satisfaction for industrial, medical, and safety products in Albany and remote regions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years in a customer service and/or inside sales related role
- Prior experience with SAP preferred
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong math skills and ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
