Job Summary
The Call Center Patient Services Representative provides part-time scheduling support for medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting and updating registration data, informing patients of appointment details and outstanding balances, and performing EHR data entry. The role supports HIPAA compliance and quality improvement initiatives, with a Monday/Tuesday/Friday schedule totaling 20 hours per week. Preferred experience with NextGen and bilingual abilities are noted. The position may be grant-funded and located in Sacramento, CA, with potential assignments at other sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of experience either working in a clinic front office or call center environment
- Knowledge of the services provided by medical, dental, and/or behavioral health facilities
- Experience with electronic health records systems
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
